Admissions: Graduate Degrees Offered and Research and Instructional Programs
The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences (NERS) at the University of Michigan (UM) is one of the most highly regarded nuclear engineering departments in the country. We have been consistently ranked as one of the top two or three programs in the country. We were proud to be ranked the #1 nuclear department in the nation in 2006 by U.S. News and World Report and continue as a highly ranked #2 nuclear engineering department for 2007.
The Rackham Graduate School works in conjunction with the College of Engineering to recruit applicants, administer the admissions process, and guide students through their academic endeavors. During the admission process and your tenure as a student in NERS, you are known as a Rackham student.
